Curriculum application:
 
  1. Select a core text for your year level.

2. Read the text, then find out about the text (knowledge) using one or more of the resources below.

3. Reflect on the key characters and key symbols in the text.  What deeper meaning and messages could they be leading us to?
 

4. If the author lived in Australia today and wanted to write a story with the same deeper meanings and messages, what characters, setting and symbols would he or she select?
Inspire the religious imagination – reach the point memesis (transforming from one context to another to bring contemporary meaning for a new context).

5.  Pedagogical application – how could this text be most appropriately taught to engage students in the story and allow it to transform their lives?  (Plan using the Three Worlds of the Text but ensure it reaches the level of personal meaning for students.)
